About Two Hunters Antiques
Still on the hunt
Cynthia Marland began her formal education at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. She worked at the Museum of Fine Arts as a projectionist. She spent her downtime wandering the museum exhibits and the basement, where antiquities were placed on hold, researched, and eventually became part of the museum’s permanent collection.
She also worked at the Impressions Gallery on the corner of Newbury and Dartmouth Streets in Boston, immersed in this vibrant world of art and artists. In the meantime, Cynthia received a master's degree, a certificate of advanced graduate studies, and a Doctorate in Education. She has taught at the high school level and in higher education.
Cynthia established the Dartmouth Gallery to display professional and novice artists. Since then, she has surrounded herself with beautiful antiques in all mediums, such as brass, glass, and paintings. She was encouraged by her parents and her partner, Scott, in her love of the arts. Cynthia is always on the hunt.
